Our offer to you - in a nutshell
We will not over sell you a site.
If your business is service based
or you offer a limited product range we wont tell you
that you need a massive site that has features that are
neither applicable to your line of business or even
needed. We will never tell you that you need to
purchase a certain package from us if we think it will
be of little benefit.
Our business policy is to provide you with a site that
will work for you and work along side your `real
world` business, whilst allowing you to purchase
upgrades or maintenance options if you need them later
in the future.
Unlike purchasing a washer or tv, you get it home then
your links with the store are done. Keppy Web Design
are always there in the background, so should you need
to chat about anything, or need advice about your site
we are only a phone call or email away.
Bells & Whistles vs Lost Visitors.
A website should be accessible by everyone who has a
need to use your services or purchase your products.
Whilst we appreciate that having a site full
of whizzing text, flashing images and video footage
can be amazing, the introduction of new technologies
such as tablet pcs in particular the Apple iPad,
iphone/ipod are incapable of displaying any flash.
The iPad & iPhone are commonplace in the UK, with
ipads outselling laptops [info]
the risk of potential visitors to your site leaving
instantly becasue they cannot view its contents is too
high. For this reason we do not offer flash designed
sites.
About Keppy Web Design
With a background in Graphic & Advertising Design, Photography and Print Production combined with a keen interest in computers - the progression to Web Design has been a natural one. The internet has been around for a lot longer than more people know. The internet has changed vastly in the last 15yr, now our email addresses contain our name unlike the first email addresses which were just a series of numbers and its much easier to find products and services you are after as we no longer have to remember the entire page reference - now we only have to type a product in a search engine or a company name.

My first encounter with the internet was
way back in 1995 when my brother and I purchased a 9.600kbps modem to view files off the Hubble Telescope. The downloading of a single image I remember took over an hour and it was quite exciting being able to download something on our own computer from another country. Even though the final image was nothing spectacular, being
able to connect to another computer system was ground breaking for us
sitting in our little house.
Keppy Web Design are a small company with little
overheads which means that not only can we offer you a
very high quality design service, we can also offer
you very cost effective options that will allow you to
maximise your business profile online whilst keeping
your outlay to a minimum. Most people do not fully
appreciate just how beneficial a website can be, and
with the surge of mobile internet capable devices such
as mobile phones, tablet pcs, ipods and even portable
games consoles more and more people have the potential
to visit your website. All home games consoles are
internet ready PS3 and Wii are able to view websites and
2010 saw the release of internet capable tvs. These can
only progress to include full web browsers in time - so
even if people do not have a physical Pc or laptop in
their home, they will more than likely have access to
the internet on some device or another.
Its a bit like winning the lottery - if you do not have
a ticket then you cant expect to win - if you do not
have a website then all these potential customers cannot
find your website and business information.
If you currently produce printed literature you will be well aware just how quickly your literature can go out of date. Having the option to allow your visitors to download these leaflets you not only save on the massive printing costs but you can also amend them will very little effort. This facility also means that you can make last minute offers and keep up with your competitors both on and offline.
